Fenwick is a Catholic collMedium Group Stairsege preparatory high school under the sponsorship of the Dominican Friars (Order of Preachers) of the Province of St. Albert the Great.

Fenwick is accredited by the North Central Association of College and Schools, and the Illinois State Board of Education. We are members of the National Catholic Education Association, Chicago Catholic League, East Suburban Catholic League, Catholic Metropolitan Conference, and the Metropolitan Catholic Boys and Girls Aquatics Conference.

Fenwick was among the original group of 60 high schools honored by the United States Office of Education as the most exemplary in the nation. Recently, in a 2003 article done by the Chicago Sun Times Fenwick was named one of the top ten private high schools in the state of Illinois.

Fenwick is a special place because of all the dedicated people associated with Science Class it. Students, faculty, parents, friends and alumni have all contributed to the excellence that this institution has attained since 1929. Its great traditions continue today because of the high expectations its students live up to, day in and day out.
